GF-ELTI designs, manufactures and installs walking beam furnaces for the heat treatment of semi-finished products.
These furnaces are designed to obtain optimum temperature uniformity, have variable reheating and cooling gradients depending on the type of heat treatment and specific customer requirements, and a maximum operating temperature of about 1,100°C.
This type of plant typically consists of:
- quadrangular or rectangular muffle;
- inlet and outlet doors;
- alternated walking and fixed hearts;
- kinematic mechanism for handling walking hearts;
- flat vault;
- combustion system;
- GF-ELTI auto-recuperative high speed and fixed power burners;
- refractory linings in cast or fibrous materials;
- electrothermal control equipment.
GF-ELTI walking beam furnaces are designed to meet the requirements of the end customer: thanks to the prefabricated modules' construction, it is possible to considerably reduce assembly and start-up times.
