Heat treatment of stainless steel, duplex, and super duplex tubes: a new installation for ICMI

ICMI Forni Industriali has recently completed the installation of an automatic heat treatment plant consisting of a furnace, a feeding system, and a tank. This line is able to treat stainless steel, duplex and super duplex tubes, pipes, and angle profiles with maximum dimensions of 2450 mm x 6500 mm. The plant, installed in Italy, boasts a production capacity of 16 tons with treatment temperature ranging from 850 °C to 1200 °C +-7°C according to API 6HT and NORSOK M-650 standards.
