New ICMI Srl rotary hearth furnace installed in Spain

ICMI Srl, an Italy-based company specializing in designing, manufacturing, and installing industrial furnaces for heat treatment and reheating, has recently delivered yet another of its latest generation plants.

This furnace, which is destined for the Spanish market, has a reheating rotary hearth with a central recovery unit, specifically for reheating stainless steel and carbon steel billets.

The machinery can reach a maximum operating temperature of 1,320 °C and provides a production capacity of 5 tons/h. Its heavy automation allows the tracking of any parts placed on the hearth, thus ensuring control of the entire process. Interaction with the company's supervisor and the material-handling device is made more accessible than ever thanks to the latest generation ICMI automations.

The rotary hearth furnace was completely prefabricated at ICMI’s facility, and then rapidly delivered, installed, and started up by ICMI’s specialists at the customer facility in Spain.
