QED awarded oil tempering line contract

QED Wire Lines is pleased to announce it has been awarded the contract to supply Baosteel Group Nantong Wire Products Co. Ltd, an oil tempering heat treatment line under the recent Shanghai Baohua International Tendering Co. Ltd. specification.  
The bid combined the best price, technology and service into a winning package.   

This state-of-the-art line will produce top quality automotive valve spring wire. Key to being awarded the contract was QED’s environmentally friendly fluidbed tempering furnace, a major improvement over outdated lead furnaces. Continuing the tradition of combining robust construction with advanced control, QED's engineers have developed a special pulse-fired combustion system offering excellent temperature uniformity to the muffle tube austenitizing furnace.
