Another successful year of important commissions for Sirio Wire

After two years, a bit undertone due to the pandemic, Sirio Wire has just ended 2022 on a positive note, thanks to the supply of many ultrasonic cleaning lines in Switzerland, Italy, the U.S.A., Argentina, and France.

Ultrasonic cleaning is the best system to clean wires from wet and dry drawing soaps and other residuals. The lines were supplied for many different cleaning applications, such as stainless wire before heat treatment, welding stainless wire after drawing, steel wire before induction annealing and hot dip galvanizing, profile wire after lamination, and so on.

It is interesting the application of in-line cleaning of flat wire after rolling. One of Sirio Wire’s international customers, a well-known spring manufacturer for the automotive industry, needed help with the manufacturing of elastic rings. The installation of Sirio Wire's efficient cleaning line with the high-speed rolling machine allowed the company to completely solve this problem.

Sirio Wire also supplied several coating bathes for stainless steel wire rod in Germany, with special attention to heat loss reduction (which is ever more relevant in this period of increased energy prices) with automatic opening covers and very efficient insulation of the bath.

Year 2022 eventually ended with the shipment to India of a complete bronzing line for bead wire. The line, designed for 30 very high-speed wires, includes electrolytic cleaning, electrolytic etching, bronzing, and very efficient rinsing and drying stages.
