A new company makes its debut on expometals.net: GMS (Global Metallurgical Solutions), part of the ENGITEC Group, lands on the network dedicated to metal forming experts.

The Italy-based company was born from the merger of ATECO Impianti (continuous and semi-continuous casting plants) and PROMES (induction furnaces for the melting of ferrous and non-ferrous metals). Afterwards, the firm acquired the technical know-how of Calamari S.p.A., a historical manufacturer of plants for the foundry industry. The resulting industrial knowledge and expertise allow GMS to design, manufacture in Italy, and install worldwide complete plants (turnkey) and ancillary equipment for foundries, both for ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

The company boasts an extensive portfolio of complete plants and machines: continuous and semi-continuous casting lines for non-ferrous billets and slabs, melting equipment for non-ferrous metals, induction heaters for aluminum, copper and copper alloy billets, permanent magnet heaters for aluminum billets, innovative solutions for the modernization of existing rolling mills, casting machines for ingot production, as well as training programs for aluminum wire rod producers.
