Oil mist filtration rubber for moulding and post-vulcanization treatment

n

Compression moulding consists in the vulcanization of the rubber using a mould so as to give it its final shape.

With injection moulding, on the other hand, the rubber is injected hot, via an extruder, directly into the mould, which is already closed and pressurized. The product is generally extracted automatically, and even the deburring (if necessary) is performed in a fully automated manner.

Post vulcanization (or post curing) treatments are carried out using special ovens, above all for industrial seals and other similar items. These thermal treatments are performed upon the seals after moulding in order to ensure that the necessary standards are achieved.

The post-curing treatment represents the final processing stage for various elastomers: o-rings, sleeves, hoses and custom made gaskets.

For this particular sector SO.TEC proposes four types of filtration systems:

- Mini-Max
- Mini-Max Plus
- Mini-Max with vertical layout
- Super-compact system
