Expert perspectives: Drahtwerk Wagener's industry insights
In an interview with Mr. Markus Giese, CEO of Drahtwerk Wagener - a Germany-based drawn steel wire manufacturer, we gained valuable insights into three key topics shaping the current landscape. Join us as we delve into his insights on the market dynamics and future prospects.
We know you’ve been to wire Mexico, how would you describe the business atmosphere there, compared to Europe?
After my recent trip to wire Mexico as a visitor, I must say it was intriguing to experience the business atmosphere in Central America. Unlike Europe, where uncertainty looms, Mexico exudes a remarkably positive vibe. Many companies there are anticipating growth, which contrasts starkly with the European landscape.
What are your thoughts on the potential impact of CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism) on your market?
Regarding CBAM, I don't have enough information about its potential impact on our market. However, it appears that most suppliers are cognizant of the requirements set forth.
Are you planning to participate in the upcoming trade show in Düsseldorf?
Yes, we'll be joining wire Düsseldorf as usual. It's our prime opportunity to connect with existing customers and potential ones. Some of our clients have even expressed interest in visiting our factory during the event, which we welcome as it fosters stronger relationships. Our team is eager to engage in discussions about future projects and expectations with visitors. In times of uncertainty, it's crucial to stay close to our customers to grasp their needs and requirements effectively.
As the industry continues to evolve, Mr. Giese's insights shed light on the importance of adaptability and customer-centric approaches in navigating the changing landscape. If you want to know more about Drahtwerk Wagener’s products, please book an appointment with the corporate team at wire Düsseldorf (stand H10/G56), from April 15 to 19.
