The company has recently installed a new automatic wire respooler to further enhance and improve its customer service and increase warehouse efficiency. Thanks to this investment, the company from Milan can import only the largest wire packaging options available and then respool them into smaller formats directly in-house. This will in turn reduce the number of codes to manage, thus optimizing and simplifying logistics operations. In this way, the company is able to supply the customer only with the required quantities, avoiding returns, warehouse stocks, and production surplus issues. Last but not least, the new machine also provides benefits to environmental protection, as it makes it possible to considerably limit the problem of empty packaging recovery: by importing only the largest packages and respooling the wire in-house, the smaller packages (such as reels, rings, DIN560 spools, etc.) no longer have to be returned to producers.
