This is exactly what Renato Scerelli did in 1962 when at the age of 26 he founded Trafileria Scerelli, a company specialized in drawn wire production. Despite the initial skepticism from those around him, over the years, the company has flourished, establishing itself as a key player in the European wire drawing market.

Led by Mr. Moreno's dedication and passion, Trafileria Scerelli operates from a historical headquarters covering 9000 square meters, with a new production plant in Annone Brianza (Lecco) spanning18000 square meters. The company proudly produces over 50,000 tons of steel wire annually, catering to sectors including automotive, mechanical industry, furniture, and recycling.

Trafileria Scerelli operates eight drawing machines, five heat treatment furnaces, and employs a team of twenty-five professionals across five departments: drawing, heat treatment, analysis and quality control laboratory, packaging, storage warehouse, logistics, and research & development. The company is committed to maintaining high-quality standards through continuous investment. Annually, its laboratories conduct over 3,000 material testing trials, demonstrating a strong dedication to quality.
