Trafilerie Valgreghentino nailed it: ISO 45001 and 50001

Steel has always been in the Italian DNA; from the 16th century, when iron ore was extracted from mineral deposits deep in the mountains, the north of Italy has always been a crucible for many metalworking companies.

In this area, over 65 years ago, one of the leading wire drawing companies in the sector started its business. Founded in 1953, Trafilerie Valgreghentino used to process steel on behalf of third parties. They would later move in 1966 to the present day facility, located in the homononymous Valgreghentino vale, which gave the name to the company.

Trafilerie Valgreghentino has always cared about the safety and health of its workers, as attested by OHSAS 18001 certification for many years now. Furthermore, following a positive audit by the evaluation body, the company is now also certified UNI ISO 45001. This brand new international certification allows to replace the previous English standard, outlining the requirements for healthy jobs and accident prevention.

Trafilerie Valgreghentino puts as much care and effort in the making of high quality products: in this regard, the company is certified UNI ISO 9001. Finally, since 2017 Trafilerie Valgreghentino has incorporated the UNI ISO 50001:2011 and UNI ISO 14001:2015 certifications, which attest to the company's commitment to environmental protection.
