All the departments of the wire drawing factory “Trafilerie Rotta”. -PICKLING DEPARTMENT -WIRE-DRAWING DEPARTMENT -TESTING DEPARTMENT -FINISHED PRODUCTS PICKLING DEPARTMENT The pickling department uses a modern material handling plant with a completely automatic cycle: the bridge crane is controlled by a PLC where it is possible to vary the immersion times in the baths or change the kind of treatment; in addition the tanks are equipped with a modern, efficient fume aspiration and abatement plant. WIRE-DRAWING DEPARTMENT The department comprises 10 drawing plants equipped with new technologies with asynchronous motors controlled by inverters, suitable for meeting any kind of production requirement. TESTING DEPARTMENT The entire finished product is tested and must respect the specifications laid down by the customer. For this purpose measuring instruments and tensile and torsion testing machines are used. In order to ensure the maximum accuracy of measurement, these are periodically calibrated by their manufacturer. FINISHED PRODUCTS the company produces steel wires and rods from 0,8 mm to 10.00 mm diameter, compliant with the european standard en10270-1 in the classes: - sl (wires for springs, with low tensile strength and static loads) - sm(wires for springs with medium tensile strength and static loads) - sh (wires for springs with high tensile strength and static loads) - dm (wires for springs with medium tensile strength and dynamic loads) - dh (wires for springs with high tensile strength and dynamic loads) The wire surface can be provided according to request: “black phosphated”, powder drawn, bright unphosphated, oil drawn, hot galvanised. The products are packaged in various ways - rolls, reels, coils - in the weights requested by the customer. In addition the materials are suitably labelled for recognition and are accompanied by a Test Certificate.
