The production process at TSP Group’s new Molteno site is now complete
Work is progressing rapidly at the new Molteno site of the Italy-based wire drawing specialist Trafilerie San Paolo.
The recent weeks have seen the installation of several new coil-to-coil drawing lines covering the diameter range from 10.00 mm to 36.00 mm, marking the completion of the production process for the company's expansive hub.
Passion for innovation and a focus on quality are the cornerstones of the group, perfectly encapsulated in the pay-off "From the micron to the ton, everything under control." This approach has propelled Trafilerie San Paolo to achieve an annual production capacity of over 150,000 tons of drawn, peeled, and hot-rolled steel, raw or annealed, with applications in a wide range of industries, including automotive, oil & gas, and aerospace.
Notably, the new production site is also characterized by a strong green footprint, reflected, for example, in an environment-friendly wire rod pickling plant and an innovative annealing plant.
These advancements not only showcase the company’s dedication to sustainable practices, but also enhance production capabilities.
