Trafilerie San Paolo now certified IATF 16949:2016

Trafilerie San Paolo srl, after being one of the first European wire drawing mill to be certified ISO / TS 16949: 1999 back in 2001, it is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed the process to obtain the certification of its Management System for Quality according to automotive industry standard IATF 16949:2016 (International Automotive Task Force).

IATF 16949: 2016 is the most widespread international standard of Quality Management Systems in the automotive industry and it goes to harmonize the different standards of auditing and certification systems in the global automotive supply chain. The new standard has replaced the technical specifications ISO / TS 16949: 2009, redefining the requirements of the quality management system for organizations in the automotive sector and moving from being a technical specification, to be a certification standard. The IATF is based on the latest version of the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 and respects its structure.

This means that an automotive industry organization certified IATF 16949:2016 also meets the requirements UNI EN ISO 9001:2015.
