The photovoltaic power plant of Minonzio, clean energy for a lower environmental impact

In business since 1947, Minonzio Srl produces all types of flexible metal sheaths for the automotive, motorcycle, cycle, and agricultural machinery sectors.

This article focuses on the company's photovoltaic power plant: with an installed power of 108 kW (against a requirement of about 90 kW), it is equipped with 235 W SHARP panels and 8 ABB inverters. Inaugurated in 2011, the plant has generated over 1.09 GWh of energy in total. Overall, this investment has allowed the company to significantly cut down energy costs (especially given the current prices), take advantage of state incentives for twenty years, and significantly reduce the corporate impact on the environment.
