PPinox wedge wires for vibrating screens: precision and customization in steel
Not only strips and square sheets
PPinox is an Italy-based company specializing in the production of stainless steel flat bars and profiles since 1979. Proudly upholding the Made-in-Italy flag of excellence, PPinox stands out thanks to its meticulous attention to detail and flexibility in meeting each specific request. Its products are exported worldwide, from Europe to Australia, South Africa, the United States, and South America.
Recently, PPinox has expanded its product range with wedge wires, which are used for constructing customized grids for vibrating screens designed for the separation of solids and liquids. These types of wires are made of weld-resistant stainless steel, available in the following alloys:
- stainless steel 300 and 400 series;
- Nitronic;
- precipitation-hardening (PH) steel;
- Inconel and other high-temperature grades.
Once ready, the wedge wires are welded onto support bars to build the screen, which can then undergo mechanical treatments like electropolishing. There are many industrial sectors that require the installation of vibrating screens, including mining, oil and gas, filtration, architecture, food processing, wood and paper pulp, just to name a few.
