Lucefin Group to play a prominent role in iron and steel standardization work

A production of 200,000 tons/year, a turnover of more than 200 million euros, and more than four decades of experience: this, in short, is the profile of the Lucefin Group, a world leader in the production and distribution of cold finished steel bars.

Regulatory updates within the metalworking industry are of primary importance for the Italian Group, which has recently joined UNSIDER with two of its production units, namely Trafilix and Tre Valli Acciai. UNSIDER is the Italian body federated to UNI (the institution which represents the interest of Italy in European and International standardization) with the task of carrying out regulatory activities concerning - among others - the iron and steel sector: UNSIDER members have a voice in the standardization works at national (UNI standards), European (EN standards) and international level (ISO standards).
