Trafilix invests in innovation with a new high-speed chain track drawing machine

Trafilix, a leading company in the production of cold-finished steel bars, has recently implemented a new high-speed chain track drawing machine supplied by Danieli & C. Officine Meccaniche S.p.A. With a pulling capacity of 5 tons, the machine is designed for the production of round, square, and hexagonal bars starting from wire rod, ensuring high-quality and efficient production standards.

Cutting-edge technology for high performance
The chain track system guarantees high-quality surfaces, a drawing speed that can reach up to 200 meters per minute with ferrous materials, unparalleled operational efficiency, and extremely precise process control. The machine’s automation was developed by Nisva S.r.l., a mechanical company within the Lucefin Group, reaffirming the Group’s commitment to integrating advanced solutions into its production cycle.

This new installation is part of a long-standing collaboration between Trafilix and Danieli, which began in 1979 and has been strengthened over the years through the implementation of six combined drawing machines, five straightening and rolling machines, and five straightening machines for square and flat bars.
