RodaFIT® is a special production process aimed at manufacturing steels capable of meeting the zero-defect requirements of today’s market. Thanks to fourty years of experience in the eddy current testing field, Rodacciai can certify the superior quality that customers seek.

The company can guarantee surface discontinuities (cracks, overlapping, scale, isolated pores, pits, grooves, etc.) less deep than 0,2 mm on diameters up to 20 mm and less deep than 1% of the diameter for bigger sizes. As per the EN 10277-1:2018 standard, less than 0.2% of the delivered weight could present discontinuities above the aforementioned levels.

RodaFIT®, perfect for free-cutting, stainless, special, quenching, and surface hardening steels, is the right choice for the following productions:

- batches where a near-zero defect is required;
- in the case of safety parts where internal integrity is not critical;
- where high quality is required to manufacture drawn bars.
