Surface hardening steel round, square, and hexagonal bars
Rodacciai supplies round, square and hexagonal bars in four variants of surface hardening steels with increasing carbon content. The higher the carbon percentage, the higher the hardness that can be achieved.
Thanks to a balanced chemical composition, these steels have a fair machinability; the constant size of the austenitic grain, on the other hand, guarantees excellent treatment repeatability. According to the desired quality, Rodacciai’s long products can be supplied rolled, workable annealed, isothermal annealed, globular annealed, normalized and quenched and tempered.

Non-alloy
Their name comes from the absence of other alloying elements, except any traces related to the source material (e.g. scrap). Rodacciai offers a wide selection of non-alloy steels with different carbon content.
