An historic tube factory, a new entry in the website: Acciaitubi

The website extends its “tube factories” section with the entry of Acciaitubi.

With the participation of the historic company Acciaitubi Spa, founded by engineer Bruno Berera in 1961 in Lecco, we further expand and enrich the entire section “tube factories” of our web network. The Bereras, now at the third entrepreneur generation, accept challenges and changes of global markets with the same enthusiasm of their ancestors. The entry of Acciaitubi in this portal, with an own online booth, confirms the propension to innovation and the desire of the firm to keep pace with the times, with all the tools that nowadays the business has available. Acciaitubi SpA’s production is based on two rolling lines. Raw material (coils made of carbon steel) is worked over the Slittering machine, feeding the two welding lines. After production tubes can be hot-dipped galvanised at 450°C, screwed if required or cut in fix lengths with restricted tolerances. Acciaitubi SpA is also specialized in Sendzimir tubes, from pre-galvanised strip, for which they are able to restore a zinc layer on the welding line, with the use of a special equipment. The most important fields for Acciaitubi SpA production are hydrothermal sanitary, automotive, scaffolding and conduit. The production possibilities allow the company to space from tubes for furniture industry to tubes for the building field, with short delivery time and reliability on special contracts.
