Hot galvanized steel pipes
The Amenduni Group manufactures and sells hot-dip galvanized steel pipes with round (3/8" to 6"), square and rectangular sections (from 20x20mm to 120x120mm) from 4m to 8,5m length.
Hot-dip galvanizing is a surface treatment in which the metal artifact is immersed in a high-temperature zinc bath. The zinc coating creates a protective film against critical external agents such as corrosion and moisture, extending the pipe’s life cycle and reducing maintenance costs. The production cycle consists of the following steps:
• acid-based degreasing;
• pickling;
• fluxing;
• rinsing;
• preheating;
• immersion in hot zinc bath;
• extraction;
• blowing
• cooling;
• straightening;
• marking;
• packaging.
Once the galvanizing process is completed, the tubes are then subject to tests and inspections according to EN 10240 quality standard (crushing test, bending test, and zinc mass determination) to ensure compliance with production standards.
