Pre-insulated pipes
Amenduni Group produces TECHNOTHERM pre-insulated pipes for district heating according to EN 253; EN 448; EN 488; EN 489 standards.
Pre-insulated pipes are used for district heating systems, district cooling, sanitary systems, external bridge crossings, fire fighting systems, anti-freeze pipes, geothermal applications, and so on. They consist of a core pipe (carrier pipe) and an outer protective layer (jacket pipe).
The carrier pipe can be manufactured in different materials depending on the customer's need: carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel, copper, polyethylene (PE), polybutylene (PB). The protective jacket pipe is instead made of PEAD, according to EN 253. On request, it is possible to use jacket pipes made of galvanized spiral sheet for external application.
The polyurethane foam (PUR) used inbetween the carrier and jacket pipes is made of high-pressure mix of polyol, isocyanate and cyclopentane, and guarantees constant thermal insulation over time, less heat loss and thus more energy savings. Moreover, it is absolutely CFC-free, in compliance with the strictest European regulations.
The TECHNOTHERM pipe system ensures a great absorption of thermal expansion, thus extending the life cycle of the district heating network.
The production range covers from DN 15 (external diameter of the jacket pipe 90 mm), up to DN 500 (external diameter of the jacket pipe 710 mm or 800 mm), in commercial lengths from 6.0 m to 12.0 m. The pipes can also be supplied with an alarm system for "just in time" fault location and monitoring.
