Introducing Blue Sky Box

Next-generation rolling cassettes: efficiency, sustainability, and control by Eurolls

In a world where sustainability is a cross-sector goal, Eurolls Spa—a leading name in the production of rolls and accessories for the wire and tube industries—responds with a concrete, patented innovation: a cold rolling system designed to reduce energy consumption, waste, and the use of harmful lubricants.

Enter Blue Sky Box, a new generation of cassettes for the wire industry, designed to be eco-friendly and also smart. The system allows for:

• optimized operating costs
• reduced maintenance
• simplified use, enabling operation even by non-specialized personnel.

Clean lubrication and intelligent control

BSB integrates the Minimalub system, a two-circuit air-oil technology that ensures continuous lubrication of the wire and roll holder bearings, eliminating the need for powdered soap and grease. This leads to a cleaner work environment, cost reduction, and greater maintenance efficiency.

The system includes a polycarbonate protective cover to contain residual particles and is ready for connection to the central extraction system of the drawing machine.

Automation for high-output production

For the final stages of the rolling process, Eurolls has developed a motorized system for automatic roller adjustment. Connected to the Boba25 control unit—which performs 16,000 measurements per second using laser technology—the system ensures wire mass consistency with a maximum deviation of 0.5 kg every 1,000 kg produced. Integration with Ribs84 also allows real-time monitoring of rib height, width, and pitch, in line with the company’s standards.

See you at wire Eurasia and Interwire

Eurolls' new solutions will premiere at the upcoming wire & Tube Eurasia (Istanbul - booth 826/C) and Interwire (Atlanta - booth 368) trade shows—two key events for the sector, where visitors can experience the company’s innovation, quality, and green vision firsthand.
