Fasb Linea 2, a synonym of continuous growth

Fasb Linea 2 was established in 1981 as a metalworking workshop specializing in the processing of metal tubes. From that time onwards, the growth has been constant, as well as the employee training.

Three years after its foundation, the company installed the first tube benders, followed in 1990 by some automatic cutters. In the early nineties a new prototyping laboratory was built, together with a brand-new robotized island for eight welding stations in 1995. In the same period, Fasb acquired a powder coating plant along with a new tube coating line. The welding stations became twelve and a new department dedicated to metal wire processing was inaugurated.

The financial crisis of 2007–2008 arrived, but despite that, the investments and the company growth continued non-stop. In those years, Fasb opened a new tube laser processing department, strengthened robotized welding and expanded technical and design office.
Furthermore, the bending machine shop was completely renewed with brand-new electric plants.

“Having all the processing phases within the company allowed us to quickly respond to the market demands. Everything has been thought for commercial and administrative optimization, with several investments aimed at staff training. Every single department of the company has grown and developed over time.” Explains Cristiano Mandelli, Fasb Linea 2 General Manager.

Over the years, the company expanded in three steps its facilities with a new 1500 SQM factory for logistics and assembly, a new office building and a new 2800 SQM warehouse still under construction.

"We will carry out 3 to 5 new hires this year and we will further expand our products range - continues Mr. Mandelli - We have clear ideas on what we will do in the next five years both in terms of production and sales".

From 1981 to today, many things have changed in Fasb Linea 2, but the passion and the desire to improve by continuing to innovate have remained intact, for 38 years, at the center of the corporate mission.
