The reason why Comtech will not be attending wire Düsseldorf

With regret Elena Maroni, owner of Comtech, based in Primaluna (Italy), announces that unfortunately the company will not be present at wire Düsseldorf 2018.

Comtech has been for 20 years an international leader in the production of tools and accessories made of hard metal and steel for the manufacture of springs. 

The company, which had initially registered for the wire show, had then to change its mind due to a clash with the Italian bureaucracy in regard to the construction of a new building facility.

The site that is under construction in Primaluna, LC, Italy has in fact suffered numerous slowdowns during the course of all 2017.
The date of completion is now set for April, the very same month in which wire & Tube Düsseldorf 2018 will take place.

This is the reason why Comtech reluctantly decided to give up the fair to concentrate all its energy and efforts on closing the construction site and the implementation of the new production unit.

The new structure with a very low environmental impact will include a futuristic 500 square meter industrial building divided into two floors, with glass and COR-TEN steel walls, a grass roof and will be surrounded by a parking lot and a green area. Everything will be connected by two tunnels to the already existing unit that will be converted back to the logistics and warehouse area.

New staff has already been hired and plans are being made to implement new machines to internalize all stages of production.
All this will lead to a sure increase in the production capacity and a faster order fulfillment.
