Kerblack® chrome oxide-based coating

n

KERBLACK ®

This is a highly specialised chrome oxide-based coating, developed by Paganoni, Division of Mario Nava S.p.A.'s laboratory after years of research and practical experience with the most important wiredrawing factories. KERBLACK® is considered, inland and abroad, as the best coating against wear and seizing for mechanical parts used in the DRY wire-drawing process for ferrous and non-ferrous wires.

Specific advantages of the KERBLACK® coating are:

Drastic reduction of the wear coefficient for the parts in contact with the wire.
No more problems connected to galvanic corrosion and eddy currents.
Considerable increase of speed and output of the machines, without jeopardizing the high quality of the drawn wire surface.
Restoration of worn-out parts without alteration of the dimensions of the part.
Reduction of manufacturing costs and of delivery time.

The most important mechanical parts we carry out in the field of dry wire-drawing industry with KERBLACK® coating are:

Blocks and spools.
Rings and cones.
Wire guides.
Rings and cones for enamel plants.
Drawing blocks.
Snub pulleys.
Aluminium parts.
