Z1000 sintered ceramic parts for a brighter copper wire
Z1000 sintered ceramic is one of the top products in the RTP Paganoni range and guarantees the highest drawing performance.
Let's take a closer look at the Z1000 sintered ceramic parts by RTP Paganoni.
Z1000 is made by pressing, sintering, and then reprocessing zirconium oxide (ZrO2). The resulting material offers exceptional resistance to wire rubbing, wear, thermal shock, and high temperatures, as well as to natural and chemical erosion. For this reason, it is ideal for manufacturing parts intended for contact with certain types of acids and abrasives.
Since they are made entirely of sintered ceramics, the parts can be reground several times before replacement. This translates into a significant extension in their life cycle and a reduction in costs.
The Z1000 offers exceptional performance for all drawing requirements but shines when drawing non-ferrous wire (red or tinned copper wire), which looks exceptionally bright and clean at the end of the process.
RTP Paganoni's production range of Z1000 sintered ceramic parts currently includes cones and rings for drawing red or tinned copper wire, pulleys for coppering tanks, rollers, and wire guides.
For all other types of wire, the company suggests using the innovative DIAMOND 3000 coating instead, which has become increasingly popular among wire drawing companies worldwide.
