CERATIZIT to acquire remaining shares of former Best Carbide Cutting Tools

CERATIZIT Los Angeles now 100% owned by the Group

22 June 2021, Mamer, Luxembourg - CERATIZIT S.A. acquired the remaining shares of CERATIZIT Los Angeles, formerly known as Best Carbide Cutting Tools, with effect from 1 June.

As stated by President Mirko Merlo, the acquisition will allow CERATIZIT Group Americas to further expand its footprint, accelerating its growth strategy in the American solid carbide tool and high-end micro tool markets.

Following the transaction, CERATIZIT Los Angeles is now officially part of the Group’s North American production network, which currently also includes the sites in Warren, MI, Schaumburg, IL, and Rancho Cordova, CA.
