CERATIZIT to complete the acquisition of Stadler Metalle

On March 1, 2022, CERATIZIT S.A. took over the remaining 50% of shares in Stadler Metalle.

The Luxembourg-based group completed the acquisition started in 2019 and is now the sole owner of the company, which specializes in trading and processing secondary raw materials.

“Over the past three years,” Executive Board Spokesman Andreas Lackner explains, “Stadler Metalle has become an important building block in our raw material supply chain and has helped us to become independent of raw materials from China and crisis regions.”

On February 28, the current Managing Director and founder of Stadler Metalle, Mrs. Gabriele Stadler, and her husband, Mr. Hubert Stadler, officially retired. On March 1, 2022, Stadler's management passed to Thomas Wenger, who has been in charge of purchasing and distribution at the company since 2010 and had previously worked for 10 years in strategic purchasing at two companies in the tungsten industry.
