Fort Wayne Wire Die: almost a century of success throughout the world
Fort Wayne Wire Die is a true pioneer when it comes to the wire drawing and wire die industries technology.
Founded in 1937, the company has always been at the forefront in this field, from the first wire die manufacturing equipment and processes to the ongoing engineering advancements.
Customers can choose between a large selection of products for every application, including single-crystal natural diamond dies, single-crystal synthetic diamond dies, Poly-Di® poly crystalline diamond dies, tungsten carbide dies, and nano diamond coated dies.
Today, Fort Wayne Wire Die's expertise is acknowledged worldwide with five manufacturing locations, (including Mexico, added in 2021), two additional sales offices, and 19 more sales rep firms.
A great example is the German subsidiary Fortek GmbH, based near Frankfurt airport, which recently celebrated 40 years of sales in the European market. While in the beginning, Fortek concentrated its activity on Western Europe only (providing localized services, taking care of import procedures, and invoicing only in the local currency), the company has now expanded to the Middle East and Northern Africa. Another example is Advanced Wire Die, the Canadian plant, that is celebrating its 75th anniversary in June 2022.
Fort Wayne Wire Die is also proud of the ISO 9001:2015 certification, which has allowed the company to develop a quality management system that fully supports its vision and goals, resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction.
Fort Wayne Wire Die awaits you at the next wire & Tube Düsseldorf. Make sure you visit Booth A27, Hall 12.
