Hyperion Materials & Technologies to acquire NanoDiamond Products

Hyperion Materials & Technologies has recently acquired NanoDiamond Products (NDP), an Irish supplier of synthetic diamond and cubic boron nitride (CBN) products.

The acquisition will further empower Hyperion’s position as a leading global provider of synthetic diamond and CBN products, covering many industries, including stone cutting, electronics, oil & gas, as well as tool making.

“We believe that combining resources gives us the opportunity to better serve more customers across a broader geography and in a wider range of end-user markets,” said Ron Voigt, CEO of Hyperion.

The integrated company will continue to market and sell under the NDP brand and join Hyperion as a new business unit focused on service, innovation, and growth as a non-rival supplier to its customers.
