Invimec: a brand new website for the cold rolling specialist
The italy-based Invimec is a company specializing in design and manufacture of an extensive selection of cold rolling lines for wire, strips, profiles, and tubes.
The company just recently launched its new website: at our first click, the new www.invimec.com homepage displays a modern and vivid personality that perfectly embodies the innovative spirit of this brand. The vast selection of cold rolling and forming machines is split in two different sections: one for industrial applications and the other for goldsmithing.
Industry: all of Invimec cold rolling lines can meet virtually any need for wire, strip, and sheet metal reduction.
Goldsmithing: since its inception in 1963, Invimec has always been a pioneer in this field, introducing plenty of revolutionary innovations over the years.
Available in Italian and English, the website is also easily accessible from all mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets.
On the occasion of this important achievement, we met Elisabetta Ciccanti, marketing manager of Invimec, to talk about this and other future investments.
What principle did you follow to improve the website usability and user experience?
“We put a lot of efforts into Responsive Web Design technology to ensure it worked perfectly on all devices (mobile and traditional). Especially in the modern era, we felt it was paramount to redefine our corporate image online. This is why we completely revised our brand identity and brand reputation with the division of our core business into two distinct sections: Goldsmithing and Industry".
How much did the pandemic affect your need to bolster your online presence with the launch of a new website?
"Quite a lot. Even though we export 85% of our machinery, we have always kept direct contact with our customers (through trade fairs, visits, installations, tests), and now everything is different. In this regard, the new website will allow us to stay closer to our customers. It is thanks to their trust that we have come this far. We are up to new challenges!"
Are there other projects in store to offer your customers an even more complete service?
"Yes, in these months we have been working on an interesting project dedicated to our customers in the industrial sector. We are planning to provide cold rolling cages to perform tests and simulations on wires, plates, strips in special alloys. Thanks to this initiative, our customers will be able to test the capabilities of our machines before buying them, of course backed up by our decades of experience in the field of forming and rolling”.
Speaking of customers: how do you manage to combine the goldsmithing and industry sectors organically?
"We have succeeded thanks to more than 55 years of experience in the rolling and forming field. Thanks to our leadership in the goldsmith industrial production we were able to take on challenges in more niche industrial applications, where it is essential to focus on quality rather than quantity, offering versatile and flexible solutions".
