Toolmaker ISIS expands machine shop

Isis SAS, specializing in the manufacture of tungsten carbide and alloy steel tools for metal forming processes, has recently expanded its machine shop with a new cylindrical grinding machine.

The new machinery - model Jones & Shipman Suprema 650 - is able to perform complex cylindrical grinding tasks with a simple setup process and fully meets the demand for high geometric accuracy with quick changeover times.

Furthermore, variable grinding disk speed and left and right grinding disks with diameters up to 450 mm ensure a longer service life for the disks and a great increase in productivity.

The installation of this new machine demonstrates the company's willingness to offer an increasingly fast and quality service and aims to further enhance the corporate production capacity.
