Diamond die leader Mikrotek discusses latest developments

Fresh off the successful showing at the wire & Tube 2024 fair, I had the opportunity to interview Mr. Kamal Babu, Managing Director at Mikrotek. We discussed their experience at the exhibition, the unveiling of their new logo, and what attendees can expect from Mikrotek at the upcoming Wire Expo 2024 (June 11th-12th) in Connecticut. Here's a glimpse into our conversation:

Mr. Babu, let's start with your impressions of the wire 2024 exhibition. Were you satisfied with the quantity and quality of visitors you met?

Certainly. We were indeed satisfied with both the quantity and quality of visitors we encountered at the exhibition. The first three days were particularly bustling, with a notable surge in attendance compared to the final two days.

What about the predominant countries of origin for your visitors?

The top countries they came from were Germany, India, Turkey, Japan, the UAE, the USA, and Brazil.

Moving on to your general impressions of the fair, could you share your thoughts on that?
Overall, our impressions of the fair are positive, though we believe there are areas for improvement. Firstly, we suggest shortening the duration of the event from five days to four, as this may help maintain the energy and engagement levels throughout the exhibition. Additionally, we recommend implementing proper segregation and organization based on categories. This would facilitate easier navigation for visitors, enabling them to locate their target exhibits more efficiently.

Now, I understand that some of your products attracted particular interest at the exhibition. Could you elaborate on that?

Yes, indeed! We experienced considerable interest in several of our products, particularly our SMP dies for nickel-coated wires and tinned-coated wires. These products sparked engaging conversations and interactions with many of the attendees.

Were there any other noteworthy aspects of Mikrotek's presence at the exhibition?

One noteworthy aspect was the unveiling of our new logo. This exciting reveal added a fresh dimension to our presence at the exhibition, symbolizing our commitment to innovation and growth.

Speaking of the new logo, could you share more about its significance and how it aligns with Mikrotek's values and vision for the future?

The launch of the new logo signifies Mikrotek's confidence in its future and its unwavering dedication to pushing boundaries and driving progress in the diamond die business. With its sleek design and modern aesthetic, the logo embodies our forward-thinking approach and dedication to staying at the forefront of industry trends. It reflects Mikrotek’s commitment to evolution and adaptation in an ever-changing technological landscape.
