India's leading drawing die manufacturer at Interwire 2019

At Interwire 2019 in Atlanta, GA, USA (May 14-16), Mikrotek Machines Limited, the India-based maker of dies for the wire and cable industry, is going to showcase its various solutions for all types of wire applications to the local and international visitors.
The company has recently shifted its operations to a bigger and more modern plant near Bangalore, the capital of the southern Indian state of Karnataka, at the center of the country's technology industry.

The founder of Mikrotek Kamal Babu in fact was a mechanical engineer from
Bangalore University who started the company in 1993. Since then, Mikrotek Machines Ltd has been growing at the amazing pace of 15% y-o-y, to the point that now it is recognized as one of the leading global suppliers of diamond dies.
“Now we're geared up with the production capacity and ready with the marketing setup,” says Kamal Babu, “we're also ready to increase our presence in the US market. That's why we have implemented the floor area at the Interwire exhibition. We're also looking for agents and distributors in the US and planning to setup a sales office there.”
At booth no. 1710 Kamal Babu and his wife Anitha, who manages the administration and financial department, are going to display samples of their production including natural diamond dies (sizes from 0.010 to 1.200 mm), polycrystalline diamond dies (sizes from 0.025 to 32 mm) and mono diamond dies. The company is also able to market consumables like diamond powder, diamond suspensions and diamond needles.
The focus is on improving the productivity of wire makers, which is summarized by Mikrotek's registered trademark ‘Draw More’, meaning that every die made by the company will draw more wires.
“Our customers get precision technology at an affordable price,” concludes Kamal Babu. “We use a proprietary technology called ‘Solid Rock’ making the die perfect in all aspects. We can't wait to present our production to the US market.”
