Mikrotek: 'Unexpectedly high quality of visitors at wire 2022'
'The fair in Düsseldorf was very good,' thus began Anitha Kamal, Director of Mikrotek Machines Ltd., as we talked with her on the last day of the exhibition.
The Indian company, represented in hall 9, has a broad production spectrum, ranging from drawing dies to die inspection equipment.
'The quality of the visitors was unexpectedly high. Unlike other trade shows, where there's a big flow of employees, this event gathered the true decision-makers, sales managers, directors, etc. We have received visits from customers from the whole globe: the US, Mexico, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, Romania, Canada, Middle East. We will have a strong order book for this year,' commented confidently Mrs. Anitha.
During our last interview with MD Kamal Babu, he explained how the pandemic was dealt with in his company. 'We managed to improve our productivity during the pandemic,' confirmed Anitha Kamal, 'We adopted LEAN methods and good practices to improve labor management.'
An additional feather in Mikrotek's cap is the MCX – Mikrotek Centre for Excellence – aimed to impart theoretical and practical training in die maintenance activities to those technicians working in wire drawing departments. 'We are training professionals from India, but also from other parts of the world.'
