The choice of 1-micron diamond powder allows for a shiny surface of the copper wire throughout the entire wire drawing process and die usage cycle.

The 4-5 micron copper layer on the wire remains completely intact. Furthermore, the PCD manufacturing system with the tungsten carbide reinforcement ring prevents possible breakage of the insert and subsequent machine downtime.
