Attending Fastener Fair Stuttgart? Here all that you should know

On March 19 – 21, halls 1, 3 and 5 of the Stuttgart Exhibition Grounds will open their doors for the 8th edition of Fastener Fair Stuttgart. The event will gather togheter about 900 exhibitors from 40 different countries. The most represented will be Germany, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France, Turkey, China, India and Taiwan.
On display there will be the latest technological developments as well as conventional systems from all areas of fastener and fixing technology.

A new area
For the first time, as part of Fastener Fair Stuttgart, a special area will be dedicated to bonding and adhesive technologies. Due to their unique features, this fixing systems offer a cost-effective solution for several industry sectors, such as automotive and electronics. They provide an excellent addition to traditional fasteners and their importance is constantly growing. In some cases they already are a vital choice for lightweight construction.

The outlook
The expectations are positive. According to the Fastener Fair, the fastener and fixing industry is expecting a positive economic development in the upcoming years. Based on evolving global industry sectors like e-mobility, aerospace and construction, a growing demand for fasteners and fixings is currently anticipated. The market is costantly under development: new technologies have been introduced as well as new fields of application and new materials. In addition, hybrid fasteners have already carved out their own niche in the industry. Therefore, fasteners and fixings are more frequently applied as flexible and highly functional solutions in lightweight engineering as well as various other areas.
