Food and packaging’s heart of steel at the FARO Club Meeting - with an Expo view

FARO is pleased to present the two international panel discussion in agenda for the 42nd Meeting, with a precise focus on metals for the food and beverage industry.
The two days conference organized by FARO The International Commodities Club, will be hosted in connection with Expo Milano 2015, at Zambon OpenZone in Bresso (Milan). Expected to take part at the first debate are Franco Bove, Guala Closures Group Chief Operating Officer; the Board Member of Carcano Antonio Spa Ambrogio Merlo and Hydro Aluminium Slim Spa Managing Director Christian Muckermann; together with Raphael Thevenin, Sales and Marketing Director at Constellium; and with Stéphane Tondo, Board Member at Apeal. The panel’s subject is Market trends of rolled products for food applications and packaging.

After that, the second international panel on “Sustainability and end of life issues for metals demand - How volatility, environmental issues and legislation drive demand in key end-user metal sectors like beverage, cookware, and retail trade” will be featured by Danilo Amigoni, Baldassare Agnelli Spa; Fausto Capelli, Managing Director of Centro Inox; Gianni Rizzuto, Managing Director, Foundry Alfe Chem Srl; Gino Schiona, General Manager of CIAL; and Gordon Shade, CEO at Empac.


In agenda: the Macro-economic view and international market environment; the Intermarket Analysis exploring trends in energy, food, metal commodities and stock exchanges with the most distinguished international analysts; the Commodities Outlook on Non Ferrous Metals, with the speech of Edward Meir, Senior Analyst at INTL FCStone Inc.

Closing the meeting, the Forex Risk Management Strategies session with the panel discussion titled “Currencies: the volatility’s impact on the Import-Export activities. Risk and opportunities related to a new methodology for trading on Forex market: examples and best practices”.

The leading event will attract CPO, CFO and CEO of packaging and cooking tools industry, non-ferrous metals and steel as well as operators in the energy, food and green-economy sectors.
