wire & Tube fairs to expand in Turkey for the first time

Messe Düsseldorf continues on the path of globalization: this year May, from 24 to 27, two trade fairs by the name of wire and Tube Eurasia will hit the stage for the first time in Istanbul at Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center.

The wire and Tube Eurasia will initially be run as an investment business venture during the two Turkish trade fairs Wire Tech Istanbul and Tube + Steel Istanbul. Both events are organized by Tüyap Fair Istanbul, Turkey's leading fair operator. Starting from 2025, wire and Tube Eurasia will run independently at two-year intervals.

With this initiative, Messe Düsseldorf is broadening its wire & tube portfolio toward Turkey and Asia. Through this cooperation, Tüyap and Messe Düsseldorf will be able to further develop their presence in the metalworking industry.

“The expansion of our metal trade fair portfolio toward Turkey is important and necessary to ensure continued growth in the market and to match our exhibitors’ changed needs,” declared Daniel Ryfisch, Director of Messe Düsseldorf wire, Tube, and Flow Technologies portfolio.

Wire TECH will see the participation of manufacturers and leaders of the wire and cable industry, while Tube & Steel Istanbul Fair is the second edition of the event dedicated to the business of tubes, pipes, profiles, and steel.
