Now and Then: how sintered ceramics revolutionized wire drawing

After exploring the history of wire drawing- with two videos dedicated to two wire-drawing companies, Trafileria Scerelli and Trafileria Mauri - we start a new journey today with a new video of the “Now & Then” series; by mirroring Expometals.net’s evolution, from this third episode onwards, we will branch off and investigate the industries related to wire, starting with technical ceramics for wire drawing.

One of the major boasts of RTP Paganoni is the design and development of high performing ceramics for wire producers, which help to address the age-old problem of wear. Drawing cones, drawing rings, drawing capstans, pulleys, rollers and guide elements, RTP Paganoni’s production range is wide and suitable for several applications.

Between the stiff competition and bills to pay, Angelo Paganoni’s only way of surviving back in 1971 was to take risks and come out with innovative solutions. By working hard and firmly believing in his own products he always managed to stay on top. You can feel Angelo's and Nicoletta’s passion and pride as they tell the story of the company, from the start-up stage up to the present day.

Without further ado, let’s see the video!
