More specifically, the GMS-C can be used to record the bending shape of a metal plate and compare it to a stored reference geometry, allowing for the monitoring of the plate's curvature.
Thanks to its adaptive design, it can be used for many purposes, such as digitization, product certification, system control, production optimization in bending machines and in edge rolling machines, as well as manual field measurement, and machine learning.
Digitizing the required contour enables the simple monitoring of manufacturing tolerances and direct interaction with upstream or downstream manufacturing processes.
The GMS-C curvature measuring system facilitates the inspection of radius, distance, curvature, shape comparison, and general geometric contours with speed up to 200 Hz and an accuracy up to 10 µm. The process interface SPS works to detect SQL data.
