Thread chasers

With over a century of activity in the fasteners’ industry, Mayes & Warwick also offers thread chasers, essential tools for rethreading (chasing) damaged threads.

Both internal and external thread chasers are available: internal ones have cutting teeth on their side faces, while external thread chasers have teeth at the end of their shafts, tapering to a point at the handle end.

The chasers are manufactured from high-speed steel and are suitable for various Metric, Unified, and BSW thread profiles. Custom sizes can also be produced to meet specific needs. These versatile chasers cover a wide range of thread profiles, spanning from the finest pitch of 73 TPI (0.35 mm pitch) to 4 TPI (6.35 mm pitch).
