Polymeric drawing lubricants

Developed by Henkel in the early 1930s, the BONDERITE® technology has established itself in the automotive, industrial, and metalworking sectors as a leading chemical brand for improving paint adhesion, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance of steel, aluminum, ferrous-based alloys, mixed metal alloys, and plastic surfaces.

BONDERITE L-FM FL 744 and BONDERITE L-FM FL 735 are water-based polymeric lubricants, specifically developed to reduce the number of steps required during metal pretreatment. A single product for the entire drawing process, BONDERITE generates a thin dry and firmly adherent film, which increases drawing performances while preserving the die structure.

The treatment is also environmentally friendly as it helps to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions, as well as eliminate the disposal of by-products.
