Straightening machine for test samples

This machine is a stand-alone unit used to produce steel wire samples with diameter ranging from 6 to 25 mm for laboratory tests after the hot rolling, cold rolling, or stretching process.

The test sample is obtained by cutting a portion of hot-rolled wire in the spooling phase, thus reproducing the straightening process performed by processing steel centers.

The final pieces are suitable for any machines that require straight wire bars.
However, they are particularly indicated for tensile test equipment in order to check the mechanical properties of ribbed wire rods produced in the hot rolling mill process.
