Automatic Ring Forming & Welding Machines ultimat UTW

The ultimat UTW is designed for the automatic production of butt welded rings, for those customers requiring “High Quality Precision Rings” as required for industrial filters, automotive hub and fulcrum rings etc.

The wire is taken direct from coil, straightened, formed, cut and welded fully automatically. The machine incorporates a “Multi-Roller” Ring Forming head incorporates a unique wire forming and cutting system that gives a high quality “flat” ring with a ‘square’ cut.  The ‘Square Cut’ Closed Die System produces a burr-free, square cut that ensures a superior weld quality demanded by today’s consumers. The forming roller position is set using a hand wheel with digital indicator so that the ring diameters can be set-up quickly and efficiently.

A pneumatically operated welding unit, mounted in front of the Forming Head allows for a fast and efficient pick-up of components after the cut, so the next part can be formed during the welding cycle.  This incorporates our standard resistance welding unit but can also be supplied with our MF Medium Frequency system for customers working with Stainless Steel wire.

Comprising of four standard models for processing wire ranging from 2.00 mm up to 10.00mm
