Sheet metal deburring machines
RALC Italia has developed a reliable and versatile line of machines for producing sheet metal conveyors in steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. These conveyors find use in the refrigeration (HVAC) industry. In addition to standard machines, the company can provide customized solutions that include handling and welding capabilities.
Single-axis deburring machine for straight and non-flanged conveyors
This intelligent and practical solution, which is much more cost-effective and time-saving than a press, allows for the production of aluminum, steel, and stainless steel sheet metal conveyors with diameters ranging from 100 to 800 mm and a maximum deburring height of 100 mm. The machine gradually applies plastic deformation to shape the material, utilizing a perforated sheet as the starting point. During the process, a sheet holder securely holds the sheet in position to ensure a high-quality final product.
CNC two-axis deburring machine for conveyors
RALC Italia’s CNC two-axis deburring machine for conveyors is currently the only machine in circulation capable of forming conveyors directly within the heat exchanger structure. It performs complex cold plastic deformation by utilizing three rollers that gradually insert into a perforated sheet and shape it, minimizing material spring-back. The synchronized vertical and horizontal three-roller motion guarantees swift, accurate, and uniform deburring, leading to top-notch quality products. The machine can perform straight, flanged, and bell-mouthed deburring with special tooling. The robotized punching island facilitates punching the flange to prepare it for attaching the external grid. The shuttle system and the division of the work area into zones allow for pendulum operation, enabling the loading and unloading of conveyors while one zone is in use. The island can also operate on individual zones to punch multiple conveyors, improving efficiency and productivity.
Furthermore, RALC Italia's innovative design ensures multiple conveyor production from a single metal sheet. In addition to reducing the number of fastening points and minimizing oxidation, this process significantly enhances the value of the final product.
