Wire pointing machines

EME’s range of machinery also includes state-of-the-art wire pointing machines.

The wire pointing operation is carried out before the wire is fed into the die for the rolling process. The EME/AP model covers a range from a minimum diameter of 1 mm to a maximum of 30 mm and can process both high and low-carbon steel, copper, aluminum, etc.

Optionally, these machines can be equipped with two or four rolling cylinders depending on the wire diameter; above 10 mm, the 4-roller sharpener is recommended. Smaller models have two horizontal rolls, while larger models have two horizontal and two vertical rolls. Each EME solution for the pointing process can be installed on a trolley or on a base.
