- high surface hardness: the surface of the slide shafts is subject to specific heat treatments, reaching a hardness of min. 60 HRC. This guarantees exceptional wear resistance and a long service life, even in demanding working conditions;
- low surface roughness 0.20 and ÷ 0.25 µ: the surface of the shafts is ground and polished with extreme precision, obtaining a very low surface roughness. This minimizes friction and noise, ensuring smooth and silent sliding;
- straightness from 0.2 max to 0.3 max mm/m: the shafts have very tight dimensional tolerances, guaranteeing high straightness. This aspect is essential for obtaining precise and stable linear motion;
- availability of different sizes and materials: HS Industries offers a wide range of hardened slide shafts for linear motion and linear guides in different sizes and in steel and stainless steel. This allows choosing the shaft that best suits the specific needs of the application.
